I am now 19! A few days ago it was my birthday! On our first official day in beautiful San Diego, CA! I had such a fun time. I got to spend the whole day in our gorgeous theatre the Balboa and everyone was so cool with my bday wishes! Everyone sang to me, I got to pick where to eat at dinner (and my dinner got paid for hehe thanks andy!) and the production staff got me two cakes! It was so nice of them to do all that for me! I even got to make a birthday wish and blow out a lit match haha. The best part though was being woken up in the morning with a package being dropped off at my room. My parents and siblings made me a birthday present box and shipped it to the hotel. It had a card, pictures, and some cute clothes and stuff. It made me so happy cause it made me feel like I had a little piece of home with me! I am doing better with my homesickness, I think it will just take time!
All of the boys look so different these days! They are all getting their hair dyed, cut, curled, and hairsprayed lol. Andy is a bright blonde (and the color changes daily), and anthony lucas and chase all have buzz cuts up half of their hair! It is pretty wicked cause they look so rock musical haha.
Anyway, this week is going to be intense! We have some long rehearsals going on. For the next 5 days (and for the past two) we are at the theatre from 1pm-midnight everyday for tech rehearsals. It is so exciting watching the show come together. And when we are in the theatre, it feels like we are in the Eugene O'Neil in NY cause the set looks identical! It is the coolest thing! The theatre is beautiful though and so authenic. I love it! Tomorrow we got invited by the tour cast of Phantom to see their show which is awesome, and my dad is coming to visit!! I am so happy because I really miss him and haven't seen him in almost a month and a half! It will be so nice to spend time with him and have him meet
the cast and everyone. Oh yeah! I forgot to mention that when our flight landed in San Diego, one of our fan bases called the Guilty One's were all standing at baggage claim with signs and yelling and stuff to greet and welcome us to San Diego! We were all very shocked and definitely not expecting that kind of welcome! It was a great way to start our time in SD!
